Community Node Presence
Every place that helps should be findable — website or not.
A node is anywhere help actually reaches people: a church hall, a pantry, a clinic front desk, a neighborhood group. Purpose Link offers a Node Card and a Presence Starter Page so a node can be found, printed, and handed out without buying a website.

Purpose Link does not sell web or media services, does not fundraise on these pages, and makes no tax-deductibility claim. Houston-first community resource network in development; not yet a 501(c)(3), not an emergency service, and no guarantee of eligibility for any program.
What a node gets
A Node Card, a page, a print-out, and a short link.
Node Card
One card in the directory: who you are, the doors you open, and how people reach you.
Presence Starter Page
A plain public page with a service menu and audience doors, written the way the operator says it.
Printable sheet
The same page prints to a clean one-pager for the front table, the door, or a bulletin board.
Short link, QR-ready
Every node has a short path like /c/your-node that can be printed as a QR code.
Onboarding
Phone-first, paper, or in person.
No node has to fill in a web form to exist here.
Phone-first
A Purpose Link volunteer reads the page back to the operator over the phone, line by line. Nothing goes public until the operator says it is right.
Paper
The operator fills in a one-page paper sheet, hands it back or mails it, and the page is typed up from that sheet.
In person
Someone sits at the front desk for twenty minutes, writes down how people actually reach the service, and reviews it before it is published.
Ways to be reached
However people already reach you, that is the way we list.
A node with no website keeps a full directory listing. A node that only answers a phone on Tuesday mornings gets listed that way, honestly.
Review before confirmation
Nothing says provider confirmed until the organization says so.
A draft page is written, read back to the operator, and only then published as confirmed. Until that review happens, the page says so on its face.
